I apply a theoretical context that is founded in systems theory. The approach is grounded in the work of Murray Bowen, Edwin Friedman, Thomas Fogarty, and others. The theory follows a multi-pronged understanding of the human struggle. The approach seeks to take in the vast richness of our individual and collective life experience and provide a foundational basis for understanding. This approach de-emphasizes labeling or pathologizing behavior and emphasizes deeper understanding of the multiple variables that influence the human predicament.
